Carpino, October 3 the 11th edition of ” The Flavors of Art”
Culture, gastronomy and trekking among the olive trees
with the event of the Farm “Biorussi” , of the magazine “Like”
and the Gargano Citrus Consortium.

Making culture around oil, its traditions and methods used in harvesting by bringing together art and various segments of food and wine with the event “Flavors of Art.” The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2020, and is organized by Agriturismo “Biorussi” in collaboration with the eno-elaio-gastronomic magazine LIKE and the Consortium for the Protection of the Gargano IGP Orange and the Gargano IGP Femminello Lemon for a day of experience and knowledge among the ogliarola garganica trees. An open-air Laboratory also for the 2020 edition where elaioculture, food and trekking intersect with a series of moments designed to raise awareness and better appreciate green gold and bring together producers of wine, sparkling wine, jams and spirits.
A route that will be carried out in strict compliance with anti Covid regulations. “To get to know the olive tree, the oil and the work of olive growers,” comment Maria Giulia and Domenico Russi, creators of the initiative now in its 11th edition, “this is the mission behind the project. To achieve the goal each year we open the doors of our farm to the many who want to know more, enjoying a cultural and experiential path equipped through paths and olive trees. It is a well-trodden format that gives more and more satisfaction every year. Because it is good to put the two worlds together.”
Also framed by a Food & Trekking route with the “Gargano Natour” Association (info 3931753151). Just as there is anticipation for the musical and gastronomic show “Aquasala will save the world with Reverend Poodolico Luciano Castelluccia. “Covid restrictions have forced a change in the standard itinerary,” the organizers add, “but it was important to leave a mark and not interrupt a project that has now traced an important furrow among Gargano’s cultural events. Hence the idea to propose it these days with many friends who have taken up the call.” In previous years, the event was held in August over two days: accomplices of the restrictions act, this year they wanted to experiment with an egg formula in the fall to coincide with the first strokes of the olive harvest on a weekend-next weekend-that looks favorable for weather.
