Farmhouse

Biorussi - Olio EVO e Agriturismo (Gargano - Puglia) > Farmhouse

islands, sea, land, lake, olive trees, houses, bell towers, woods, mountains

A combination of Apulia in a small portion of land that continually delights the eyes when you cross it.
The Varano Lake is divided from the Adriatic Sea, by a thin strip of land. The Tremiti Islands stand out against the horizon. Farmhouses and small shelters adorn the extended fields of olive trees, and the sun lights up the hills and our town on the top of them. Majestic, behind them, stand out the green mountains, of the Gargano National Park, covered by woods.
This is the view that welcomes and cares for us every morning. Welcome to Carpino, the town where we were born and where we have chosen to live together with our trees!

Roots that sink into the passion for our work...
A way of being that shines in thousand splendid forms, because it has many souls: that of an agritourism, that of a country house and that of a farm.

The farm

The Biorussi farm was born from the ancient olive-growing vocation of the region. For over 100 years, it was dedicated to working the land and to the production of organic extra virgin olive oil. The family management, combined with the new skills of the younger generations, allow us to carefully follow each stage of the production, in order to create products of the highest quality, while respecting the environment. Our olive grove, of about 60 hectares, is characterized by a mono cultivar plantation of “Ogliarola Garganica”, a robust and gentle plant that every year gives us a healthy extra virgin olive oil, medium fruity, with pleasant hints of spicy and bitter on the palate.
